Since the beginning of the Programme in 1998, about 14β000 high school teachers were trained at CERN. Every year, around 40 national courses take place in 21 languages. The National Teacher Programmes consist in one intense week of trainings for high school science teachers who want to adjourn their knowledge in modern physics. Offered on-site at CERN, educators participate in lectures from CERN scientists, hands-on activities and dedicated sessions where they can learn how to bring physics and CERNβs expertise into the school classroom. Support CERN's mission to create a world where high-quality, scientific education is universally available. |
